Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Sim Connector

1. SIM Card Connector

• Function: This is the actual electronic socket or block of pins soldered onto the phone’s main circuit board (or a sub-board, like the charging port assembly). It reads the electrical contacts of the SIM card.
• When you need this: If the phone physically stops recognizing any SIM card (displaying “No SIM Card” or “Insert SIM”) even when the tray and SIM card are known to be good. Damage usually occurs due to bent or broken internal pins.
• Repair Note: Replacement of the soldered SIM connector is a highly complex, microscopic repair requiring specialized micro-soldering equipment and expertise.

2. SIM Card Tray (External Component)

• Function: This is the small, removable metal or plastic tray that you insert the Nano-SIM card into.¹ It slides into the slot on the side or bottom of the phone.
• When you need this: If the tray is lost, bent, cracked, or the gasket seal around it is damaged.
• S25 Ultra Note: The S25 Ultra typically supports Dual SIM (two physical Nano-SIMs or one Nano-SIM and one eSIM, depending on the region), meaning the tray usually holds two cards back-to-back.

Most customers looking for a “SIM Connector” are actually looking for the replacement SIM Card Tray (Part #2). If you are having connectivity issues due to internal pin damage, you need the SIM Connector/Reader (Part #1).
