Privacy Policy
Understand your information. Know your choices.
At Gudfast.com, we use personal information to manage purchases, deliveries, accounts and customer support. This policy explains what information is involved, why we use it, when it is shared and how to contact us about it.
Who This Policy Covers
This Privacy Policy explains how Gudfast.com (“GudFast”, “we”, “us” or “our”) handles personal information when you browse our website, create an account, place an order, use GudFast Wallet, or contact us about purchases, delivery, repairs, replacements or refunds.
This policy provides information about our practices. Visiting the website does not, by itself, give blanket consent to optional marketing or every type of data processing. Where consent is required, it must be obtained for the relevant purpose.
Information You Provide
- Contact and delivery details: Your name, phone number, email address, billing address and delivery address.
- Account details: Account identifiers, login credentials supplied when creating an account, and information you choose to update in your account. Do not send passwords to customer support.
- Purchase records: Products ordered, selected condition, order number, invoice, amount paid, payment status and transaction reference.
- GudFast Wallet records: Balance, credits, deductions, related orders and correspondence about wallet transactions.
- Device and service details: Model, IMEI or serial number where relevant, reported faults, repair or replacement history, and device-condition evidence.
- Support communications: Emails, WhatsApp messages, chat messages, complaint details, photographs, unboxing videos and other files you submit.
Information Collected Automatically or Received from Partners
- Website activity: IP address, browser and device information, pages visited, timestamps, referral information, interactions, session identifiers and technical error logs.
- Cookies and similar technologies: Information used for cart functionality, login sessions, preferences, security, analytics and advertising where those tools are enabled.
- Payments and checkout: Payment or checkout providers may send payment confirmations, transaction references, verification results, refund status and dispute notifications.
- Delivery: Courier and logistics partners may send tracking events, delivery attempts, proof of delivery and return-to-origin status.
- Analytics and advertising: Where enabled, providers may supply website performance, campaign and conversion information, subject to applicable consent requirements.
An IP address may indicate an approximate region. A shipping address is information you provide for delivery; it is not continuous GPS tracking.
Why We Use Information
- Process payments, confirm orders, prepare invoices, dispatch products and provide delivery updates.
- Maintain your account and record GudFast Wallet credits, deductions and balances.
- Verify the device associated with an order and assess warranty, replacement, repair, missing-item or refund requests.
- Respond to questions and complaints, investigate failed transactions, and manage payment disputes or chargebacks.
- Protect accounts, identify suspicious transactions, prevent misuse and maintain website security.
- Diagnose technical problems and improve website usability and checkout performance.
- Send promotional messages or measure advertising where permitted, with consent where required.
- Maintain records required for accounting, tax, legal obligations and the resolution of disputes.
We use information for the purpose for which it was collected or another purpose permitted by applicable law. If a new purpose requires consent, we will seek it before using your information for that purpose.
Payments & GudFast Wallet
Payments are processed through the payment or checkout provider used for your transaction. Payment credentials entered on that provider’s interface are also subject to its privacy and security practices. GudFast receives the transaction information needed to confirm payment and support the order.
Do not send your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN, banking password or payment OTP through email, WhatsApp or support chat. Our support team does not need these credentials to investigate an order.
Wallet records are linked to your customer account and relevant orders. A request to delete an account may not immediately erase transaction, invoice or wallet records that must be retained for accounting, legal obligations or unresolved disputes. Contact us about any remaining balance before requesting account closure.
Cookies, Analytics & Advertising
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Similar tools may use pixels, local storage or technical event logs.
- Essential functions: Keeping items in the cart, maintaining login sessions, processing checkout and helping prevent fraud. Disabling these may affect shopping features.
- Preferences: Remembering settings where such features are available.
- Analytics and diagnostics: Understanding page use, clicks, errors and, where session-replay tools are enabled, browsing interactions. Such tools should not receive payment credentials or private support uploads.
- Advertising: Measuring campaign results, attribution and relevant advertising where enabled and permitted.
Manage cookies through your browser settings and any cookie controls available on the Site. You can delete stored cookies or block future ones. Browser controls may not stop every form of server-side processing. Where prior consent is legally required for optional tracking, that tracking must depend on your choice; merely using the Site is not a substitute for that consent.
When Information Is Shared
We share relevant information with service providers and other recipients where needed for the purposes described above. The information shared depends on the service involved.
| Recipient | Information and purpose |
|---|---|
| Checkout and payment providers | Contact and order details, transaction information and verification data needed to process or investigate a payment. |
| Courier and logistics partners | Recipient name, delivery address, phone number, shipment details and COD amount where applicable. |
| Hosting, storage and technical support providers | Website, account, order, uploaded-file and technical data needed to host, maintain and secure the service. |
| Customer support and communications providers | Contact details, messages, order references and relevant attachments needed to handle your request. |
| Analytics and advertising providers, where enabled | Device identifiers, browsing or conversion events and campaign data, subject to applicable choices and consent requirements. |
| Authorised repair and service partners | Device identifiers, fault descriptions and necessary order or contact details to assess and complete the service. |
| Banks, professional advisers and authorities | Relevant records where necessary for disputes, accounting, legal obligations or lawful requests. |
We do not sell your personal information. Advertising and analytics tools may nevertheless receive identifiers or activity information as described in this policy. Optional marketing use remains subject to applicable consent requirements.
If the business is reorganised or transferred, relevant records may be shared or transferred subject to confidentiality safeguards, applicable law and any required notice.
Support Files & Devices Sent for Repair
Unboxing videos and complaint attachments can reveal your address, shipping label, face, voice or device identifiers. Share only what is necessary to show the issue. Avoid including unrelated people, private messages, financial documents or other sensitive material.
Files submitted for support are used to investigate and resolve the request, including sharing relevant evidence with authorised service or payment-dispute partners when needed. Permission to assess a support file is not permission to publish it as an advertisement or testimonial; separate permission is required for that use.
Before an approved repair or return, back up your data, remove SIM and memory cards, and follow support instructions about removing personal accounts and activation locks. Do not share account passwords or OTPs. If device access is needed for testing, ask support how to prepare it without exposing private content.
Security & Storage
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards intended to protect information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or disclosure. No website, transmission method or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Use a strong account password and keep your login details private. Report suspected unauthorised access promptly using the contact details below. If a personal-data incident occurs, we will take appropriate response steps and provide notifications where required by applicable law.
How Long We Keep Information
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for its stated purpose, including completing orders, maintaining active accounts, administering wallet records and handling support or warranty requests.
Some records must be kept longer for accounting, tax, fraud prevention, chargeback investigations, legal obligations or ongoing disputes. Retention depends on the type of record and the applicable requirement; there is no single retention period for every category.
When information is no longer needed and retention is not otherwise required or permitted, it should be deleted or anonymised. Backup copies may remain until the relevant backup cycle expires, subject to appropriate access restrictions.
Your Choices & Privacy Requests
You may contact us to request access to information about your account, correction of inaccurate details, deletion of information that no longer needs to be kept, withdrawal of consent, or review of a privacy concern. Requests are handled subject to applicable law and necessary record-retention requirements.
- Marketing: Use an unsubscribe option where available, reply STOP to promotional messages where supported, or email us to opt out. Necessary order, security and support communications may continue.
- Consent: You can ask to withdraw consent for consent-based processing. This does not affect processing already lawfully completed; we will explain if withdrawal prevents a requested service from being provided.
- Verification: Contact us from your registered email or phone where possible. We may ask for proportionate information to verify your identity, but never your password, PIN or OTP.
- Complaints: Email [email protected] with the subject “Privacy Request” or “Privacy Complaint”. Explain your concern and include an order number only if relevant. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
Additional rights, such as nomination, portability or restrictions on processing, are available only where the law applicable to your request provides them and the relevant provisions are in force. You may approach the competent authority where an applicable complaint mechanism is available.
Children’s Privacy
Our purchasing services are intended for adults aged 18 years and above. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children for accounts, purchases or marketing.
If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action, including deletion where required, subject to any lawful retention obligation.
Third-Party Services & International Processing
Payment pages, WhatsApp, social media platforms and other external websites may process information under their own privacy policies. Review those policies when using their services. Their independent practices do not remove our responsibility for information we disclose to them.
Information may be processed in India or in other countries where our service providers operate. Such processing is subject to applicable transfer restrictions and any safeguards required by law. This policy does not promise a specific hosting country or a contractual transfer mechanism that has not been confirmed.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when our services, data practices or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top identifies this version. Material changes will be communicated where required, and fresh consent will be requested where necessary. A policy update does not itself authorise a new consent-based use of your information.
Contact Us
For privacy questions, data requests or complaints, contact the GudFast Support Team. Include enough information to locate your account or request, without sending unnecessary sensitive documents.
Please contact us before mailing documents or sending a device so we can confirm the appropriate current address.
