Samsung Galaxy A26 5G Camera Lens Glass With Frame

The replacement part you are looking for is the Camera Lens Glass with Frame for the Samsung Galaxy A26 5G.

Component Details

• Part Name: Camera Lens Glass with Frame or Rear Camera Glass Lens Cover.
• Function: This is the outermost transparent protective glass and the surrounding bezel (frame) that sits over the camera modules on the back of the phone. It protects the actual camera sensor lenses from dust, scratches, and impact.¹
• Replacement Unit: This part is typically sold as a single unit, which includes the clear glass(es) and the small plastic or metal frame that holds them in place, often with pre-applied adhesive for easier installation.²
• Symptom of Failure: Replacement is necessary if the glass covering the camera is cracked, scratched, or missing, which can cause blurry photos, light flares, or allow dust to enter and damage the camera sensor itself.

Repair Advic

The replacement of the camera lens glass (especially the “with Frame” version) is a relatively common and manageable repair:

1. Removal: The old lens/frame assembly usually needs to be carefully removed from the back of the phone. This often involves gently heating the area to loosen the adhesive.
2. Installation: The new part, which comes with adhesive, is then pressed into place.³

3. Caution: You must be extremely careful not to scratch the actual camera lenses beneath the glass or allow any dust to settle on them during the replacement process. Using compressed air to clean the area is highly recommended before installing the new glass.
