Samsung Galaxy A16 5G Microphone

The Samsung Galaxy A16 5G features multiple microphones for enhanced audio, specifically for calls and video recording.

Based on hardware teardowns and feature descriptions:

• It has a main microphone located on the bottom of the phone, typically used for regular phone calls.
• It has a second microphone (often referred to as a noise-cancelling mic)¹ located on the top of the phone.² This microphone helps to filter out background noise during calls to improve clarity for the person you are speaking to.

Reviews generally indicate that the call quality is good, with the phone doing a solid job of removing background noise when it occurs, thanks to the noise cancellation feature.⁴
