Samsung Galaxy S23 Ear Speaker Flex Cable

Samsung Galaxy S23 Ear Speaker (Earpiece Receiver)

This component is the vital part that provides audio during voice calls. Unlike the loud speaker (which is for music, speakerphone, and alarms), the ear speaker is for private listening during a call.

Signs of a Faulty Ear Speaker Flex Cable

If you are experiencing any of the following, the ear speaker assembly likely needs to be replaced:

• No Sound During Calls: You cannot hear the other person when the phone is against your ear (though the speakerphone works fine).
• Low or Distorted Volume: The sound is very quiet, crackly, or muffled, making it hard to understand conversations.
• Static or Rattle: You hear a persistent buzzing, static, or rattling noise from the earpiece.
