Samsung Galaxy M14 5G Power Buttom Flex Cable

Samsung Galaxy M14 5G Power Button Flex Cable

The power button is not just a simple physical button; it is connected to a flex cable that transmits the button press signal to the motherboard and, in the case of the M14 5G, also houses the Fingerprint Sensor (Touch ID).

Symptoms of a Faulty Flex Cable

If the power button flex cable is damaged (often from a drop, impact, or liquid exposure), you might experience one or more of the following issues:

• Unresponsive Power Button: Pressing the power button does nothing; you cannot lock/unlock the screen or power the device on/off.
• Intermittent Functionality: The button only works sometimes or requires excessive force.
• Fingerprint Sensor Failure: The Fingerprint Sensor (which is part of the same assembly) stops working or is not detected by the phone.
• Stuck/Jammed Button: The button feels “mushy” or permanently pressed, causing the phone to constantly restart or go into an endless boot loop.
