Samsung Galaxy S24+ Ear Speaker Flex Cable

The Samsung Galaxy S24+ Ear Speaker Flex Cable is the component responsible for producing sound when you hold the phone up to your ear during a call (the earpiece/receiver).

Here is a summary of the component and information for replacement

The Part

The part you are looking for is typically called the:

• Earpiece Speaker Flex Cable
• Receiver Flex Cable
• Ear Speaker Assembly

On the Samsung Galaxy S24+ (model SM-S926), this component is a small module that includes the speaker itself and is connected to the phone’s main board via a thin, flat ribbon (flex cable). Its replacement is necessary if you are experiencing:

• No sound from the top speaker during calls.¹
• Distorted, crackling, or very low sound from the earpiece.

Replacement Considerations

1. Professional Repair is Recommended: Replacing the ear speaker on a Galaxy S-series phone is a delicate procedure.² It usually requires:
   • Carefully removing the back glass.
   • Unscrewing and removing the mid-frame assembly.
   • Disconnecting and replacing the flex cable assembly, which is often located near the top of the device and may be adhered in place.
   • The repair carries a risk of damaging the screen, back glass, or other internal components. Additionally, professional repair helps ensure the device’s water and dust resistance (IP rating) is properly restored.
2. Where to Find the Part:
   • Authorized Service: Contact a Samsung Authorized Service Center for a guaranteed genuine part and repair service.
   • Online Retailers: You can find the earpiece speaker flex cable on mobile spare parts websites (like Maxbhi, Touch LCD House, etc.) and large e-commerce marketplaces (eBay, AliExpress).³ Ensure the part is specifically listed for the Samsung Galaxy S24+ (SM-S926) model.

3. Cost: The price of the part itself can vary widely depending on the supplier and whether it is an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) or a generic/aftermarket part. Online listings suggest the price for the component ranges, but expect to pay a premium for certified or genuine parts, plus the cost of labor if you choose professional service.
