Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 Camera Lens Glass With Frame

Camera Lens Glass with Frame for the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7.

Component Details

• Function: This is the exterior protective glass (or lens cover) that sits over the camera modules on the back of the phone (the part near the Cover Screen). It often comes pre-installed in a small plastic or metal frame/bezel for easier installation and to maintain a tight seal.¹
• Purpose of Replacement: You need this part if the glass over your rear camera is cracked, scratched, or shattered, which can cause blurry spots, flares, or dust to appear in your photos.
• Key Consideration (Color): Since this part is visible on the exterior of the phone, you must specify the correct color (e.g., Black, Cream, etc.) to match the color of your Galaxy Z Flip7’s back panel.

Repair Advisory

Replacing just the camera lens glass and its frame is typically one of the simpler external repairs, as it usually involves carefully removing the damaged piece (often held in by adhesive) and fitting the new piece. However, because the Z Flip7 is a folding phone with a sensitive Cover Screen area nearby, it is still advisable to:

1. Use extreme caution to avoid scratching the Cover Screen.
2. Ensure a completely dust-free environment before installation to prevent dust from getting trapped beneath the new glass and affecting camera performance.
3. Use proper adhesive to ensure a sealed fit and maintain some level of water resistance (though professional service is the best way to guarantee a proper seal).
