Samsung Galaxy A16 5G Camera Lens Glass With Frame

Camera Lens Glass with Frame for the Samsung Galaxy A16 5G.

Component Information

• Part: Camera Lens Glass with Frame (or Bezel)
• Function: This is the external glass piece and surrounding ring/housing that protects the individual camera lenses on the back of the phone. The “with Frame” description is key, as it indicates the entire protective assembly, which often makes replacement easier by providing a solid unit that adheres to the phone’s chassis.
• Replacement Need: You would need this part if the glass over one or more of your rear cameras is cracked, scratched, or broken, which can cause photos to be blurry, have light flares, or show spots.¹
• Key Considerations:
  • Color Matching: This part is a visible component of the phone’s back. Ensure the replacement part’s frame color (e.g., Black, Green, etc.) matches the back cover of your specific Galaxy A16 5G.
  • Adhesion: The replacement process involves adhering the new assembly to the back of the phone. Proper cleaning and use of adhesive are critical to prevent dust/moisture from getting into the camera module.

Repair Advice

While the replacement of this part on non-foldable phones like the Galaxy A16 5G is often considered a DIY possibility, extreme care must be taken to:

1. Avoid Scratching the Camera Sensor: The camera modules are exposed once the broken glass is removed.
2. Ensure a Dust-Free Seal: Any dust sealed inside will appear in your photos.

For the best results and to maintain the camera’s image quality, professional repair is often the safest choice.
